La Festa de la Infantesa ja es celebrava a València des de 1937, on es rebia a les Magues de Gener, com a subtitució de la tradicional Cavalcada de Reis d’Orient, per considerar-se una festa religiosa. Des de 2016, la Societat Coral “El Micalet” de València l’ha recuperada i hi participen diversos col·lectius i entitats, sobretot culturals.
Entre altres entitats i colles de cultura popular, ha participat el gegant de la Falla Arrancapins.
